BALT MILITARY EXPO 2010, Gdańsk

28-06-2010

Gdańsk, Poland, on June 23-25, 2010, PZL Mielec exhibited at the 11th Balt Military EXPO (baltic military fair).

The first two days of the exhibition was closed to the public, and were mainly dedicated to business meetings. During the "business day", we had the pleasure to host at our booth guests from Industrial Telecommunications Institute, Air Force Institute of Technology, SAAB, as well as Polish government representatives. The PZL stand was also visited by the representative of the Embassy of Republic of Indonesia and Indonesian companies interested in S-70i helicopters.  The fair attracted wide interest from the Polish Border Guard. Unfortunately, white and dark blue suits were missing because Polish Navy officers were preparing to celebrate their holidays.

BALT-MILITARY-EXPO 2010 is the only marine exhibition in Poland. The fair is dedicated to the Navy, the Special Forces, Border Guard, the Police, State Fire Service, as well as emergency and safety services.

Antiterrorists shows, roboting combats, fire fightings – these are just a few things that the organizers prepared for the Expo. In total, over 130 exhibitors participated in this fair.

Among the honorary guests: Minister Marcin Idzik, Undersecretary of State for Arms and Modernization of the Ministry of Defense, Minister Dariusz Bogdan - Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, Major General Zbigniew Głowienko - Commander of the Polish Land Forces, Rear Admiral Waldemar Głuszko - interim commander of the Polish Navy, Colonel Jerzy Matusik, Deputy Head of the Government Protection Bureau, and the delegations of the Ministries of Defense from People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Federal Republic of Germany and Kingdom of Norway.
