 On 25th October over twenty representatives of the biggest Polish national media visited PZL Mielec in order to learn the specific character of the plant and advantages of produced aircrafts. The invitation was accepted by journalists of Rzeczpospolita, Gazeta Wyborcza, Polska The Times, Newsweek, Wprost, TOK FM and Wirtualna Polska as well as correspondents from Polish Press Agency (Polska Agencja Prasowa) and Informacyjna Agencja Radiowa. Leading Polish news channels like: TVN24, TVP Info and Polsat News also sent their reporters and recording vans.

The visit began with the meeting with the company’s President Janusz Zakręcki and the presentation of advantages of Black Hawk helicopters, made by the pilot Mike Skaggs. Afterwards, journalists had a unique opportunity to see the production line in the H-3 hall at close range. The most interest, however, was aroused by an impressive helicopter air show, which could be seen by millions of Polish viewers in the whole country, since it was broadcasted live from in front of PZL air-shed by the reporters of TVN and Polsat. The visit resulted in dozens of publications in both print and electronic media. Not less valuable are positive impression and memories that journalists will bear in mind for a long time.
